1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LocalPoolSharks ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, do not access or use our table reservation, venue directory, or league rating features.
2. Table Hold Deposits & Cancellations
Table reservations held via LocalPoolSharks require a $10 deposit. Deposits guarantee a table hold at the selected partner pool hall for 15 minutes past your reserved time slot. If you fail to arrive within 15 minutes of your hold time, the table will be released to public walk-in players.
3. Venue Listing Ownership & Verification
Pool hall owners and operators who claim venue listings must submit valid proof of ownership (commercial lease, liquor license, or tax document). LocalPoolSharks reserves the right to revoke unverified owner credentials.
4. Player Ratings & Code of Conduct
FargoRate and UPL handicaps are maintained using statistical match logging. Players caught sandbagging, submitting false scores, or engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior will face rating adjustments or temporary account suspension.
5. Limitation of Liability
LocalPoolSharks provides software and directory services "as-is". We are not responsible for venue equipment conditions, physical injuries at partner billiard rooms, or third-party venue cancellations.
